Both give you an IP address that a mobile carrier assigned to a cellular connection, and both carry the same trust signal — that comes from the carrier's address range, not the radio technology. The practical difference is throughput and latency: 5G links are faster and respond more quickly, which matters for heavy scraping or anything latency-sensitive. For account management, ad checks or price monitoring, a 4G proxy performs identically where it counts.
